The picnic was hosted by Montalbano Furniture this year also. View of participants on the left of the park looking south. The picnic followed a Mass celebrated in the chapel on Montalbano's premises. |
Other participants on the right of the park finding shading under the trees. Roasted italian sausage (Bari style) was served together with pea pods, pop, and fruit, courtesy of A.R.S.V. The kids plated baseball and soccer. |
... while others enjoyed the sun and the beautiful day, renewing old friendships and catching up on the latest news. |
Water balloon game. Players choose a team-mate forming two rows as shown in the photo. The game is to trow the water-filled balloon back and forth between team-mates without breaking the balloon. |
At each trow, the players step backward away from each other, and the team that breaks the balloon is eliminated. The winner is the team left with an unbroken balloon at the end. |
This game is very popular and was replayed again. |
Another popular event was the raffle which was conducted by Frank De Frenza. |
